Herbology
- Ingredients are chosen for their nutritional benefit or for a necessary
function. Fillers such as waxes or feel modifying ingredients such as silicones,
dimethicone, cyclomethicone or glycols, are never used.
- We believe that animals are our partners on this planet. Accordingly, we have a
strict policy of not testing on animals at any stage of development. All of our
products meet PETA's guidelines for cruelty free products.
- We believe beauty products can and should be vegan. This means we do not
use ingredients in which the animal has to be sacrificed (carmine, chitosan),
ingredients derived from animals (lanolin) or produced by an animal (beeswax,
milk, honey, silk).
- Natural products should not contain non-natural ingredients. Our products
contain no: parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates
(SLS), silicones (dimethicone, cyclomethicone), glycols, artificial
preservatives, artificial fragrances or artificial colors.
- Herbology's Founder and Head Developmental Chemist brings a
diverse background to the company, including advanced degrees in science and
law, patent experience and over 10 years directing product development in the
R&D labs of prestige and natural cosmetic companies. At Herbology she directs
the strategic vision of the company while also maintaining responsibility for all
formula creation and quality control.
